Basden & Ivie PC is a business law and litigation firm. 
Founded in 2009 by two experienced attorneys, Elizabeth Basden and John Ivie, the firm began with the basic principle that legal representation should be cost-effective and collaborative in order to bring all possible solutions to the table.  We believe that our mission is to help the client get back to business as soon as possible - and as whole as possible.

B&I takes a unique approach to staffing your legal issue. 
B&I’s focus is much like yours:  you assemble a team to provide your customers and clients the best possible service.  We do the same; we meet with a client and evaluate the issues most important to the client, then assemble a team that will provide the client with the best possible legal services.  We still provide the litigation and transactional expertise that the traditional law firm model was built upon, but our team approach allows us to do it more creatively, efficiently, and effectively.

B&I endeavors to provide legal services that are cost-effective and time-sensitive. 
Business solutions often frustrate attorneys who want to win at all cost; business owners know that if you win a client, but lose money, you’ve lost ground.  The principle applies to legal strategy as well: if we win the case “at all costs,” our clients lose.  Our strategies are not about us; they’re about our clients.  B&I devises legal strategies that will structure a transaction or resolve a dispute successfully, but will not tax the financial stability of our clients.
